Part 1: Strategy Call

This is where we get to know each other

Before committing your time or ours, this targeted 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our expertise. After all, you wouldn’t see a Orthodontist if you needed brain surgery!

If we aren’t a good fit we will personally and graciously introduce you to a firm that would be better suited to your needs, no hard feelings!

Part 2 – Discovery Visit

“In Planning as in Medicine, prescription without evaluation and diagnosis is malpractice.”

In this meeting we will finish the creation of your Asset-Map and build mutual clarity on your goals, concerns and unique circumstances.

Armed with a clear understanding of your goals along with the completion of your preliminary asset-map and any documents we’ve requested we will complete our analysis and prepare the answers to these critical questions:

Can you afford to retire on your terms?

Can you save on taxes?

Can your portfolio be improved?

What are the threats to a successful retirement, and can we reduce or neutralize them?

Part 1 - Our Analysis

This is when our ears begin to smoke as we thoughtfully approach your plan (ok our ears probably won’t smoke, but we take our time and measure twice)

During this step we will:

  • Complete a thorough Social Security analysis, determining the optimal strategy based on your goals.
  • Stress test your current portfolio, and if improvements can be made, stress test the portfolio adjustments we will recommend (we’ll show you the how and the why, and explain it in simple English).
  • Complete a retirement redline analysis (will you run out of money, and if so, how can we fix it?)
  • Reviewing your tax plan to ensure you’re paying only what you owe
  • Evaluate your insurance coverage – from Long Term Care to Liability, life and anything else pertinent to your unique situation.
  • Review titling of assets / legacy plans to ensure your wishes are kept when you pass
  • ….And many other areas of planning as your unique situation dictates.

Part 2 – Delivery Visit

This is the where we make it simple… our favorite part!

During this meeting we will explain, in simple English, exactly what you need to do to achieve your dream retirement based on your goals and determine the answers to the questions we posed above.

The bottom line: We’ll answer these questions:

  2. Do you want our help?

At the end of this meeting we will decide if you’d like to work with our firm, or decide we’re not the right fit. We don’t like pushy sales tactics or pressure, so we won’t invite that into our process, if it’s all the same to you. We want to hire our clients to walk to and THROUGH retirement, so we’re thoughtful about this mutual evaluation process.

Part 3 – Implement Your Strategy

Everyone’s favorite… paperwork. (Don’t worry, we’ll do the heavy lifting!)

Prior to this meeting we will have sent you a detailed explanation of the specific steps required to begin implementing your custom strategy. During this visit we clearly explain what the next steps will be and book the next meeting and discuss the agenda. 

Depending on the complexity of your plan, we may be working through the implementation phase for a few months, we want you to know we'll be walking with you every step of the way.
